About Me
Like most people, I did not have childhood aspirations of becoming a screenwriter. Sky-high dreams of exploring outer space, hitting a World Series home run, and finding the lost city of Atlantis swirled through my head and motivated my early-life decisions. Unfortunately, though, there came a time when each of those dreams elevated from sky-high to out of reach. My youthful ambitions floated away without a chance for acceptance or understanding.
However, all was not lost as I stumbled through this confusing new chapter of my life. While time without purpose was difficult, it offered me the chance to explore a storytelling passion that had always stirred deep within. So I wrote, and wrote, and wrote, using those prior setbacks and personal experiences to fuel my words, until I found the niche that suited my style perfectly…screenwriting.
After all this time, it’s safe to say that I will never travel the galaxies like Captain Kirk, hit a majestic home run like Roy Hobbs, or discover lost relics like Indiana Jones. And that’s okay, because what I can do instead is write inventive scripts with compelling characters that represent the farthest reaches of my imagination. Not only does this give me a chance to fulfill those childhood dreams in some capacity, but also provide a plethora of ideas to sustain a steady flow of scripts that will hopefully lead to a long and fruitful career in the film and television industry.
